- return to Vienna, leases a defunct stocking factory, creates the first painted stereo pictures. 1st Prize for “Vienna, seen in artistic photography” (“Wien, gesehen in der künstlerischen Fotografie”) from the Vienna Office of Culture. Numerous happenings with “Salt of the Earth” (“Salz der Erde”) and Jascha. Work scholarship from the Vienna Office of Culture. Produces large-scale stereo pictures, builds optical devices to view his 3-D works.
Study trips to the Far East, Burma, Thailand, Malaysia, Borneo, Java, Flores, Sumatra-Nias, Iceland.
